September 24, 1983
Born in United States Potsdam NY on September 24, 1984. Susan Marie Hendershot, born to parents Jo Ann and James Hendershot. Suzie was the youngest of 2 sisters, Ann and Mary. Suzie aka nickname Birdie! I remember back then sibblings were not allowed in the maternity ward. So we stood outside looking up at the second story window that mom was holding you in for us to see. I started crying and wanted so badly to see you and mom. The nurse said ok but just for a moment. As we got to a big set of double doors, they opened slightly, and there was mom holding you wrapped snuggly in white blankets. Your little face the only thing that we could see of you, I fell in love with my new baby sister that day. I will never forget that day, the first day I saw you. Your unique laugh that I long to hear, you looking up at me saying huggie Annie huggie! You were our Birdie my best friend. So many memories we all share of you. Our dreams of becoming singers and going to American Idol. My heart will go on, My Imortal,kareoke singing Dixie Chicks, we sang all of the time. You were a wonderful Auntie to your 2 nephews and 2 nices they love you so much, you were always the first one on the slide, and ready to play with them. You are missed and loved so much Suzie. I will never forget that day, the first day I saw you, I will never forget that day, the day you left us.
July 18, 2004
Suzie passed away on July 18, 2004. She was driving early in the Sunday morning hours and was in a car accident. In the car was Jordan Cambell a friend of Suzies who also died that day. Jordan was 18 years old. Her cousin Tommy was in the car but survived the accident. Both Suzie and Jordan died on impact.
